China defense industry showcases latest technologies of rotor UAV at Defense & Security 2015.
China showcases a large range of defense and security products at Defense & Security 2015, International Exhibition which takes place in Bangkok (Thailand) from the 2 to 5 November 2015. Chinese products also include new technologies of small UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).

At Defense & Security 2015, Chinese Company CETC 54 (54th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation) presents its YUNYI small rotor UAV designed for air surveillance, anti-terrorism, anti-riot, police patrol, and surveillance. The YUNYI UAV is available with four rotors and six rotors.

The YUNYI UAV has a maximum payload of 5 kg during an endurance time of 30 min with the six rotors variant. It features vertical take-off and landing.

Now China has the technology and engineers to develop and manufacture latest generation of UAVs , the new products proposed by the Chinese industry in the field of the autonomous aircrafts benefit from the latest developments in electronic flight stabilization.

The main features of the YUNYI UAV are one key take-off, flight forward/reverse, side flight, horizon rotating flight, air fixed point hovering, hand control and program control.

The YUNYI UAV is controlled by one operator thanks to the use of a double-screen laptop which offers flight-control, flight-path planning and high definition of images. The laptop provides also UAV-telemetry information and mission payload data.
