The combat gear of Russia's "soldier of future” “Ratnik” will receive the AK-12 assault rifle, produced by Izmash, part of Kalashnikov Group. It was ahead of his rival – AEK-971 produced by the Degtyarev plant, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said on Saturday, January 24. “It is clear – this is the rifle of “Izhmash”. It won by the parity “price-quality,” Borisov said in the program “General Staff” on radio RSN.
