The H225M Caracal, which was pre-selected by the Polish government and passed operational tests with the Polish army earlier this year, is on display alongside the Tiger HAD, the multi-role attack helicopter with proven capabilities from its operational deployments in Afghanistan, the Central African Republic, Somalia, Libya and Mali. This could make him a strong competitor for Poland's Kurk Attack Helicopter program.
"With its flat and narrow silhouette, the Tiger HAD's advantages include low detectability, low vulnerability, high survivability, high agility and maneuverability making it the attack helicopter best adapted to both symmetric and asymmetric battlefields with unique capabilities whether for air-to-ground or air-to-air combat," Airbus Helicopters said. The display is completed by a mock-up of the H145M. The H145M is an economical and versatile military helicopter covering the entire spectrum of military missions, from light utility to light attack and twin engine training. The H145 family offers reliability and low operating costs and is especially the reference for law enforcement organizations and military services – including the U.S. Army, with its UH-72A Lakota version. |
