|
TULPAR was the first member of Otokar’s tracked armoured vehicles family launched in 2013. At IDEF 2015, Otokar expands its tracked armoured vehicles family with the TULPAR-S. TULPAR-S is a multi-purposed vehicle platform which retains basic features of standard TULPAR whilst maintaining the amphibious capability.

TULPAR was the first member of Otokar’s tracked armoured vehicles family launched during IDEF 2013, and with a payload of 32-42 tonnes. TULPAR-S is a new generation of armoured combat vehicle with its basic technical and tactical characteristics such as protection, structural design, electronic infrastructure and low silhouette. TULPAR-S offers all mission equipment required in the battlefield as standard. Thanks to its large internal volume, high payload and flexible architecture; TULPAR - S has sufficient growth potential to meet the future operational and mission needs. TULPAR-S is compliant with different weapon systems, can serve as a suitable platform for various missions over rugged terrain under range of varying climates with its superior mobility capabilities. The vehicle is a modular platform that can be configured differently according to the type of mission, and the version exhibited at IDEF 2015 features Aselsan-designed Kornet missile turret system equipped with Korent ATGM and a 7.62 mm machine gun.
