Plenary discussion “Global competition and armaments cooperation: comprehensive approach to the military-industrial complex development” will open the Xth Anniversary international exhibition of arms Russia Arms Expo 2015.

The discussion moderator is co-chairman of “Business Russia”, chief analyst of JSC United Industrial Corporation “Oboronprom” Anton Danilov-Daniljyan. Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Government Dmitry Rogozin, Chairman of defense committee in State Duma of the Russian Federation Vladimir Komoedov, Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuivashev, Director General of JSC «R&D and manufacturing corporation «Uralvagonzavod» Oleg Sienko Deputy Director General of JSC «Rosoboronexport» Sergey Goreslavsky, the columnist of leading international periodical on military topics Jane's Defence, Christopher Foss, and others will take part in the discussion. The plenary discussion participants will address issues related to Russian MIC development, arms market opportunities, import substitution, development of new types of arms etc. Besides, it is planned to hold a meeting of countries-participants of Collective Security Treaty Organization at the level of Deputy PM. Traditionally the business program will be realized in combination with demonstrations of Russian-manufactured military equipment. Unique technological and infrastructural capabilities of Russia Arms Expo will allow showing the full range of fighting quality and field performance data of inland manufacture. The 10th anniversary international exhibition of arms, military equipment and weapon Russia Arms EXPO 2015 probably will become the greatest one in terms of holding demonstrational shows of the latest developments of Russian MIC. Russia Arms Expo is one of top Russian and international military exhibitions. More than 200 exhibits and military representatives of more than 50 countries, neighbouring and beyond (Defense Ministers and Chiefs) are involved in the event. The exhibition visitors turnout is over 20 thousand people. |
