During a celebration held on February 13, the DT-3PM, an armored articulated all-terrain tracked carrier manufactured by the Joint-stock company «Machine-building Company «Vityaz», a company has specialized in production of amphibian and non-amphibian modifications of two section track carriers, was for the first time presented to the public.

The DT-3PM is an armored articulated all-terrain tracked carrier. It is an armored version of the DT-3P. This armored vehicle is roughly equivalent to the BvS 10/Viking. DT-3PM is a fully amphibious armored vehicle based upon the characteristic twin-cab, articulated steering system. DT-3PM is designed for use in diverse climatic conditions, on the grounds with low supporting power (marsh, snow, off-roads, wooded cross-country) at ambient temperatures from +40° to -50° C. DT-3PM belongs to a principally new type of high-speed off road transporters-jointed tracked vehicles, featuring a high load and bale capacities, good trafficability and maneuverability in the most hostile road and climatic conditions. |
