The Novgorod-based Kvant has started delivering the newest Moskva-1 electronic warfare systems to the Russian Army. This information was furnished by the company’s press service. “The Moskva-1 electronic warfare system has successfully passed state tests. We have started supplying the Russian Armed Forces with this product,” the press service informed.

It’s necessary to point out that the Moskva-1 system is designed for electronic reconnaissance of air space at a distance of up to 400 km. The Moskva-1 consists of an intelligence model and a control panel for airborne radar jammers. These systems are mounted on three KAMAZ trucks. The station is able to provide full visibility and can be deployed in 45 minutes. The electronic warfare system can operate in temperatures from -40 to 50 degrees. The Moskva-1 also includes an automated command post for coordinating management of external jamming devices, as well for transmitting information about targets to air defence forces.
