The full range of combat vehicles manufactured by the Company Streit Group is showed at the Defense & Security 2015, an international exhibition dedicated for military and police forces which takes place in Bangkok (Thailand) from the 2 to 5 November 2015. Streit Group has already delivered its Typhoon 4x4 MRAP to the Royal Malaysian Police and would like to increase its international presence in the Asian continent.

We are committing to save lives around the world using the latest armouring technology with a single focus enabling military and security forces worldwide to achieve their missions safely and efficiently through performance armoured vehicles."At Defense & Security 2015, Thailand, Streit Group presents its full range of armoured vehicles and especially two of his greatest commercially successful vehicles, the Spartan ASV 4x4 Armoured Security Vehicle and the Cougar LAMV, 4x4 Light Armoured Vehicle. The Streit Group Spartan 4x4 ASV (Armoured Security Vehicle) is modular and can be configured to perform a wide range of missions as peacekeeping operations, convoy escort, medical support, and border patrol. The Spartan ASV can carry a total of 10 military personnel including driver and commander. The front of the vehicle is fitted with a large armoured windscreen and each side is fitted with small bulletproof windows offering 360° view from inside the vehicle. The Spartan ASV provides a ballistic protection CEN B6. According to the CEN ballistic standards, materials rated at the B6 and B7 level can both defeat multiple 7.62x51mm rifle rounds, but they are rated for different types of ammunition. The vehicle is also protected against explosion blast 2 x DM51 grenades. The Spartan ASV can be easily fitted with an open-top turret or a remote weapon station armed with a machine gun up to 12.7mm machine gun. |

Streit Group Cougar LAMV 4x4 Light Armoured Vehicle

The Streit Group Cougar LAMV is a response to the needs of military and security forces with a vehicle offering a good balance between protection and mobility. This vehicle can be purchased by governments with limited budgets while offering high level of protection and mobility thanks to the use of armouring technology of Streit Group and the use of a standard platform of all-terrain vehicle Toyota.
The Cougar LAMV can carry a total of 8 military personnel including driver and commander. The layout of the vehicle is standard with the engine at the front, driver and commander in the middle and troops compartment at the rear. The vehicle offers a ballistic protection CEN B7, (Protection against firing of small arms AK- 47, M16, H&K, Galil (calibers; 7.62×39, 5.56×45, 7.62×51, M193 & M80) including armor-piercing rounds). In standard configuration, the Cougar LAMV is fitted with run flat system that is designed to resist the effects of tires damage, and to enable the vehicle to continue to be driven at reduced speeds. To increase the protection of the vehicle, it can be fitted with a small armour turret which can be armed with a 7.62mm or 12.7mm machine gun. |
