AUTPI 2V patrol vehicle developed by Romanian army.

A unit of the Romanian army has developed the "Autoturism Usor de Teren pentru Patrulare si Interventii", in abbreviation the AUTPI V2, a light 4x2 patrol and intervention vehicle based on a Dacia Logan 1.6 car.

A group of Army techniciens have developed a light 4x2 vehicle on a Dacia Logan chassis, Dacia being a local subsidiary of Renault. As its name indicates, the vehicle is intended for patrol and intervention missions with three men on board.

Its empty weight is 750 kg, with a payload of 350 kg. The engine is a Renault/Dacia 1,598cc gasoline one, developing 87hp at 5,500 rpm, or 87 Nm at 3,000 rpm. The vehicle can reach a top speed of 140 km/h. Its autonomy averages 685 km with a fuel consumption set at 7 l/100 km.
