SDLE has its own engineering department and develops tailor-made software for specific operations with unmanned aircraft. The company's UAV-division put its first UAVs on the market in 2016.
SDLE’s family of UAVs is composed of multi-rotors for rapid deployment and transportation, fixed-wing systems for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations and fixed-wing aircraft with Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL) capacity, offering high levels of autonomy and flexibility of use.
SDLE develops and manufactures UAVs with easy handling and high performance for both military and civilian use. Besides the applications on the battlefield, SDLE’s UAVs are also used by security forces, emergency and industrial services.
SDLE’s anti-drone system has proven its effectiveness and ability to neutralize UAVs. It interrupts the remote control, telemetry, video link and GPS/GLONASS transmission of all UAVs identified as threats.
The equipment is man-portable and can be integrated into vehicles and also used to protect fixed installations, such as institutional buildings or strategic industrial plants.
Due to its commitment to Research and Development (R&D), in 2018 SDLE has been recognized in Spain as an Innovative SME, achieving the distinctive seal awarded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
The new Egyptian exhibition center, less than 20 kilometers of the Cairo International Airport, received around 10,000 visitors from the global Security and Defense industry, according to forecasts, which places EDEX as high institutional interest forum at a global level.
SDLE was at the East West Connection pavilion, (stand 1720), and also presented its highly versatile Dragoon Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), which is already in use with the United States (US) Army, Navy, US SWAT and the various police forces.
