Eurosatory 2018: Streit Group Gepard-ASV 4x4 Armored Security Vehicle.
In the field of Security, the Canadian-based wheeled armoured manufacturer Streit Group presents its Gepard-ASV Armored Security Vehicle in cargo variant at Eurosatory 2018, the Land and Airland Defence & Security Exhibition in Paris, France.

The Gepard ASV was especially designed to perform different types of security missions and specific tasks like peacekeeping operations or convoy escort, EOD, Ambulance, Urban or Border patrolling. The Gepard ASV armored security vehicle is a modular vehicle which is completely flexible and adoptable for such tasks.
The Gepard-ASV has layout similar to a pickup with engine at the front, crew compartment in the middle and cargo area at the rear. There is two large bulletproof windows at the front and the commander and driver both have a forward-opening side door. One more additionnal door are available on each side of the hull that open to the rear.
The Gepard-ASV is powered by a 6.7L v8 Ford engine that ensures power and resilience through any terrain. The Gepard-ASV internal layout is designed to accommodate an 8-member crew including driver and commander but best of all is that seating configuration can be adjusted as per client requirement. The Gepard-ASV can run at a maximum road speed of 120 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 800 km.
The Gepard ASV weighs 7.6 tons and can carry a payload of up to 1.5 tons. The Gepard offers protection against all small arms, hand grenades and fragmentation with its standard CEN B6 (firing of small arms 7.62x51mm caliber) protection level. The Gepard ASV is capable of carrying both remote and manual weapon systems.
The Gepard ASV is a powerful and versatile vehicle which is easily adapted at production to comply with mission specific requirements.
