DVD 2018: Horiba Mira exhibits its Viking unmanned ground vehicle.

HORIBA MIRA – a world-leader in unmanned ground vehicle systems has displayed its state-of-the-art unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) platform, Viking, at DVD 2018.
The UGV can be integrated with various payloads including the detection of improvised explosive devices, remote surveillance and soldier support. The Viking is a hybrid platform with a maximum speed of 40 kph and a payload of 600 kg. It has been designed to carry a range of payloads and to fulfil a number of specials missions and tasks like last mile logistics, security, ISTAR, combat/direct fire and soldier support. The Viking is always in 6x6 drive mode and have 4 steerings wheels. The powertrain can be either electric or hybrid.
