After the successful launch of the REX-1 multi-function suppression device and the continuation of the EW device line, ZALA AERO developed a new satellite signal suppression system, which was presented at a closed display during the International Military Technical Forum "Army-2018". "ZALA ZONT suppresses signals of satellite navigation systems (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDuo, GALILEO) in a radius of two kilometers to prevent drone attacks on ground groups. It also determines exact coordinates of the groups and ensures stealth motion," Rostec State Corporation said.
The compact device weighs 800 grams. Battery size (150x90x40mm) and suppression block (180x90x30mm) allow keeping the device in a standard bag to carry an automatic rifle magazine. Non-stop operation lasts six hours. The device can be recharged or powered by an electricity network of 110 or 220 V. It can efficiently operate at temperatures ranging from minus 40 to plus 50 degrees Centigrade.
