Massive presence of US companies at MSPO 2018.
Against a backdrop of rising tensions along Poland’s eastern border, U.S. aerospace, defense and security companies committed to supporting Poland and NATO allies are exhibiting critical technologies and equipment this week at MSPO 2018 to strengthen connections with buyers and decision-makers involved in the modernization of Poland’s defense forces.
MSPO, the annual International Defence Industry Exhibition, is Europe’s third-largest defense industry trade show. It is organized by the Ministry of National Defence (MND) through Targi Kielce in partnership with government and private sector stakeholders to promote the Polish defense and security economy. The event is being held September 4-7 on a combined 30,000-plus sqm of indoor and outdoor exhibit space at Targi Kielce Exhibition & Congress Centre in Kielce, Poland.
More than 30 U.S.-based companies including The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin,Motorola Solutions, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon are exhibiting at this year’s event. Many are participating in the USA Partnership Pavilion, organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., the show’s official U.S representative, in coordination with government agencies, including the departments of commerce, defense and state.
The 2018 Pavilion lineup covers more than 250 square meters and features marquee OEMs Harris Corp., General Atomics Aeronautical and L3 Technologies;established equipment and component suppliers Cubic,SRC and Start Pac; and new-to-market innovators Corfin, Otis Technologies and Protonex. The state of Arizona also has its own stand-alone Pavilion located within the larger U.S. footprint to showcase three state-based exhibitors: Black Diamond, Colnatec and Hydronalix.
Located prominently in Hall F, the USA Partnership Pavilion is America’s headquarters on-site: an efficient location for buyers to meet more U.S. suppliers, a professional business center for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and time at the event, and a forum for all to share ideas and insights.
Now more than ever, success in international trade is driven by partnership and teamwork,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO Tom Kallman. “Here at the Eastern front of the NATO Alliance, America’s presence at MSPO 2018, amplified by the USA Partnership Pavilion, demonstrates our nation’s steadfast commitment to the underlying principles and practice of collective defense. Our participation is a strong indication of how important Poland and our NATO allies are to the U.S. defense and security industry, and that buyers and influencers here and across Europe are also looking to the U.S. for innovative solutions and partners.”
