DSEI 2023: Brazilian defense company Mac Jee Group showcasing Armadillo MLRS and ammunition.
Mac Jee Group is displaying its Armadillo multiple rocket launch vehicle. Developed for extreme operational conditions, this innovative and compact weapon system offers unmatched power based on a light 4x4 vehicle. With 72 2.75-inch rockets in each vehicle, the automatic reloading system can be activated and operational in less than 40 seconds, allowing saturation fire of up to 10 km and evacuation of the firing site before any retaliation.

The Armadillo MLRS can fire up to a distance of 3 km without stabilization, and indirect artillery fire up to a distance of 12 km, with stabilization. According to Mac Jee, the new TA-2 system would provide the armed forces with multiple applications, such as patrol reinforcement, complementing an artillery battery, forward artillery outpost, etc. The Armadillo complies with DO-160G and MIL-STD-1399 standards, ensuring it meets the rigorous requirements of defense and security applications. Its design takes into account the challenges of high-intensity conflicts and aims to provide a robust and reliable solution to the armed forces.To complete its product offering to land forces, Mac Jee is also presenting its new range of 155mm NATO standard artillery ammunition.. Building on its vast industrial capacity and experience in forging, machining and ammunition filling, this new product will be an important focus for governments aware of the challenges created by high-intensity conflicts.NATO aerial munitions of the Mk (81 to 84) and BLU109 family already manufactured on a large scale and widely exported by Mac Jee to many foreign partners are also highlighted at the event. The equipment is the only one forged, qualified and with an airworthiness certificate issued by the competent international authorities.
