At the DSEI 2023 event, technology company Marss is showcasing RADiRguard City, a comprehensive surveillance system aimed at enhancing security in urban environments. This new offering builds upon the company's existing RADiRguard perimeter surveillance technology, which is already in use across the Middle East.

The RADiRguard City system is fully integrated with NiDAR, Marss's AI-powered platform that serves as the core of its various security solutions. Designed to seamlessly blend into urban landscapes, the system also functions as a smart streetlight, utilizing solar power for its operations.

The system is engineered to protect civilians from a range of threats, including but not limited to, gun attacks, air pollution, and unauthorized vehicle entry into pedestrian zones. It features an array of built-in cameras, RF sensors, and microphones, and employs intelligent threat classification algorithms for 24/7 autonomous monitoring and detection.

In the event of a detected threat, an alert is sent to the NiDAR Command & Control Centre, where operators can assess the situation and determine appropriate countermeasures. This could range from issuing warnings via built-in speakers to activating connected access points or directing security personnel to the location. The system has the flexibility to operate either on-grid or off-grid, thanks to its solar power capabilities and backup battery options.
