The spotlight is on Galvion's state-of-the-art ballistic helmets, which have been turning heads in the defense realm due to their superior design and functionality. In tandem, the firm is also highlighting its groundbreaking military power solutions, underscoring its dedication to arming the military with top-tier equipment.
A notable mention is Galvion's revamped Mission Adaptive Charging Station™, the MAX-8. This enhanced portable charger minimizes battery operational constraints, empowering teams to achieve more with fewer resources. The MAX-8, trusted by global military factions including parts of the U.S. defense forces and NATO, has undergone significant upgrades. These include a surge in AC/DC power supply from 280W to 480W, an output boost from 400W to 1000W, an amplified battery charger output from 5.0 Amps to 8.0 Amps, and a strategically relocated USB-B port for swift firmware updates. It proudly meets a plethora of standards, including CE Mark, CISPR 11 Class A, FCC part 15 Class A, MIL-STD-810H, and more.
In a strategic move, Galvion has also proclaimed the inception of a European Production Hub in Gdansk, Poland. This decision, influenced by Galvion's escalating success in NATO and broader European territories, anticipates the hub to be fully functional by the first quarter of 2024.
With a series of recent contract acquisitions from pivotal European nations, Galvion foresees nearly 1.5 million helmets being deployed across NATO and other European regions by 2025. The forthcoming Gdansk hub will primarily focus on helmet finalization and assembly, along with essential support and maintenance services. After thorough research and evaluation, Gdansk was selected, with plans to broaden the facility's scope by 2026 to encompass Galvion's comprehensive product range. Meanwhile, Galvion's foundational facilities in Canada and the USA remain committed to catering to domestic, regional, and significant global endeavors and clientele.
