The Turkish company has developed a comprehensive range of ground-based air defense radars to meet various altitude and range requirements. Their radar systems cover a wide spectrum, spanning from low to high altitudes and short distances to early warning capabilities.

The concept of air defense radars can vary significantly based on different countries' air defense doctrines. However, Aselsan's radar systems have proven their versatility by effectively identifying and classifying aerial threats, regardless of their radar cross-section (RCS). This capability extends from small mini/micro-drones to highly evasive stealth aircraft.

At the forefront of the system is the anti-drone radar Acar, which efficiently detects aerial threats at very short distances, providing essential protection for critical infrastructure and strategic installations. In addition, the Mobile Search Radar (MAR) and the Fire Control Radar (AKR) form the first line of defense against tactical drones and rotary-wing platforms in short-range scenarios.

Moving to the next layer, the Kalkan radar system fills the gap and plays a crucial role in medium-range air defense. This system offers 3D detection and tracking capabilities, countering combat aircraft, helicopters, drones, and cruise missiles.

To counter long-range threats and provide early warning, Aselsan introduces the All-Altitude Radar (AIR) and the Early Warning Radar System (EWRS). These airborne surveillance radars, based on Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technology, are equipped with electronic protection capabilities, ensuring vigilant and comprehensive airspace monitoring.

By offering a diverse range of ground-based air defense radar systems capable of covering all altitudes and ranges, ASELSAN demonstrates itself as a reliable and innovative player in the global defense market.
