One of the key highlights of the vehicle is its modular design, allowing for customization based on customer needs. This means that the Kamrat-L can be manufactured in various configurations, such as a command and control vehicle, a drone control and transport vehicle, a medical vehicle, a mobile mortar system, and a vehicle for protection against radiation, chemical, and biological agents.

Regarding protection, the Kamrat-L complies with STANAG 4569 standards, level 2, offering complete protection against 7.62x39 caliber API bullets at a distance of 30 meters and safeguarding against mine explosions of up to 6 kg of TNT under any wheel or the vehicle's center.

The vehicle's robust 4x4 chassis ensures stability and mobility. Powered by a 6-cylinder in-line turbocharged diesel engine, customers can choose between two options offering 270 or 380 horsepower, with a maximum torque of 1,128 or 1,250 Nm at 1,200-1,600 rpm. This allows the Kamrat-L to achieve a top speed of 100km/h and a range of 1,000 km on roads. The Kamrat-L is equipped with an automated central tire inflation system, ensuring optimal tire pressure on different surfaces, as well as a winch with a towing capacity of at least 9 tons. Additionally, the vehicle features a sophisticated fire-fighting system, equipped with ultraviolet and infrared sensors, ensuring a rapid response and extinguishing capability.

The interior equipment of the Kamrat-L provides air conditioning, heating, ventilation, first aid kits, and a gas powder ventilation system. Its anti-mine seats with five-point safety belts ensure the safety of the personnel.

The Kamrat-L offers excellent capabilities for transport, reconnaissance, patrolling, and escorting during special missions. It provides crew protection against small arms fire, mines, and shell fragments.
