The Kirpi II Ambulance is equipped with a 4x4 independent suspension system and Axletech ISAS 4500 axes, designed to enhance grip and passenger comfort, setting a new standard in its class. The vehicle offers the option of differential lock on both front and rear axles, enhancing its off-road capabilities.

Safety features of the Kirpi II Ambulance include a monocoque-type armored cabin, armored glasses, shock-absorbing seats, a weapon station, and an emergency exit hatch, all aimed at ensuring the protection of its occupants.

The ambulance meets STANAG 4569 standards, incorporating ballistic, mine, and IED protection to ensure the safety of those on board, particularly in challenging environments. Additionally, the inclusion of a Spall Liner in the hull further enhances its defensive capabilities. The V-shape monocoque design provides additional protection against potential threats, and the CBRN protection system offers increased security in hazardous situations.

In addition to its protection measures, the Kirpi II Ambulance is equipped with various mission-specific integrated equipment, including a CBRN protection system, shooting range target detection system, automatic fire extinguishing system, intercom, jammer system, and more. It also features a specially designed explosive material reconnaissance and destruction robot arm version.

Under the hood, the Kirpi II Ambulance is powered by a 6-cylinder turbodiesel engine with an intercooler and a displacement of 8.9 liters. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 375 ps (275 kW) at 2,100 rpm, with a wide range of maximum torque reaching 1,550 Nm from 800 to 2,100 rpm.

The Kirpi II Ambulance stands out from other Kirpi family members as it is specially designed to serve as a fully-functional ambulance, alongside its mission-specific features, allowing the vehicle to effectively handle emergencies.
