Under the hood, the OT 4x4 is powered by a Cummins ISB 6.7 EU 3 engine, capable of delivering a power output of 210 kW (285 horsepower). The vehicle also features an Allison 3000 automatic transmission with 7 gears (6+1), providing it with significant maneuverability. The OT 4x4 has a payload capacity of 1,500 kg and a total weight of 14,000 kg.

One of the vehicle's key strengths is its ballistic protection. It can withstand 12.7 mm projectiles and offers frontal protection against 20 mm missiles. Additionally, it is equipped with six lateral loopholes for the use of small arms from within the vehicle, as well as smoke grenade launchers to enhance its survivability on the battlefield.

With dimensions of 6.7 meters in length, 2.6 meters in width, and 2.5 meters in height, the OT 4x4 is designed to be compact while still providing ample interior space for occupants. Its maximum speed is 110 km/h, and it has a ground clearance of 360 mm. The vehicle can climb slopes with a gradient of 60% and can also traverse side slopes at an angle of 45%. Its fording depth is 1.5 meters.

The OT 4x4 has a driving range of 1,100 km, making it ideal for long-duration missions. It is also fitted with 365/85 R 20 tires, designed to offer excellent traction on various types of terrain.

However, it's worth noting the absence of a drone protection system. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) now play a crucial role in modern tactics, as evidenced, for example, in Ukraine. A system to protect against such threats would therefore be a welcome addition to modern vehicles.
