The Tigr-M  is an improved version of the standard 4x4 light tactical vehicle Tigr GAZ-2330. The vehicle is produced by the Russian Defense Company Arzamas Machinery-Plant, a Military Industrial Company subsidiary, and keeps on being refined continuously. The vehicle was developed by the Military Industrial Company in line with the specifications of the Russian Defence Ministry to expand the operational envelope of the Tigr special vehicle. Able to carry up to 10 fully equipped infantrymen, the wheeled armored vehicle Tiger-M has a combat weight of 5300 kg and a payload capacity of 1,500 kg. The Tigr-M serves in a wide range of roles, including reconnaissance, fire support, and troop transport. Its adaptability makes it a valuable asset in various operational scenarios, from urban warfare to open-field battles.

The integration of the P-230T system into these already versatile vehicles signifies an evolution in the Russian Army's operational capabilities.

The P-230T is equipped with multiple antennas on its upper part, facilitating both the sending and receiving of data. It operates on radio frequencies between 3.9 and 4.2 MHz and has four radio channels operating at 2,048 kilobits. The system is configured to manage various telecommunication equipment, including secure phones and video conferencing capabilities. It can function both while stationary and in motion, offering operational flexibility. The complex is highly resistant to jamming. The messages are reliably coded and rule out decoding if intercepted. The complex has autonomous power sources and life-supporting systems.

The vehicle, with the P-230T, is engineered to facilitate secure phone communications, video conferences, and electronic correspondence on the battlefield. This connectivity extends between the formation commander and higher-level headquarters and is available when the vehicle is stationary and in motion. The advanced automated workstations within the vehicle enable higher-level headquarters to monitor the real-time situation in the mission area, while also allowing the formation commander to promptly relay updates on any situational changes.
