This included participation in water passage exercises in Tiszaroff and airborne maneuvers in Nyiregyhaza, showcasing the diverse capabilities of the Turkish military.

The Adaptive Hussars-2023 exercise simulated a hypothetical situation threatening Hungary's security, with dual objectives: strengthening Hungary's defense capabilities and evaluating the effectiveness of coordination between civil administration and the military in troop movements and logistics.

Approximately 5,000 Hungarian troops, including 500 reservists, actively participated in the Adaptive Hussars-23 international military exercise. Hungarian Defense Minister Kristof Szalay-Bobrovniczky highlighted the ongoing threats in Europe, underscoring the importance of a well-trained defense force for maintaining peace and security in the country.

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán personally observed elements of the exercise, including a bridge-building demonstration at Tiszaroff and a parachute jump exercise involving Italian and Hungarian paratroopers in Nyíregyháza.

Chief of the Hungarian Defence Forces General Staff, Lt General Gábor Böröndi, pointed out the comprehensive nature of the exercise, involving land, air, and maritime forces. He stressed that the exercise serves as a thorough test of the Hungarian Defence Forces' readiness across multiple domains.
