The renewed agreement between BMS and HAVELSAN focuses on maintaining and enhancing support services for AW139 training centers, essential for the operational readiness of the Qatari Armed Forces. These high-technology simulators enable military personnel to train in realistic conditions, thereby enhancing their expertise and preparedness for the challenges of modern military operations.

The partnership between the two companies represents a continued commitment to enhancing military training capabilities and combat readiness in Qatar. With a focus on excellence and innovation, BMS and HAVELSAN strive to provide high-quality training experiences, ensuring that Qatari military personnel have the skills and knowledge necessary to address the complex challenges of national security.

Training facilities dedicated to the AW139 helicopter offer an in-depth curriculum designed to enhance the operational proficiency, maintenance knowledge, and mission-critical capabilities of both novice and seasoned pilots and crew members. The essence of these programs is to ensure participants are well-prepared for the diverse challenges they might face in the field, catering to a spectrum of roles that the AW139 is adept at performing.

The foundational layer of this training is the Ground School. Here, participants are engaged in a classroom setting where they delve into the intricate details of AW139's mechanical and electronic systems, its avionics suite, operational performance metrics, and crucial emergency response strategies. This theoretical groundwork ensures a solid understanding of the helicopter's capabilities and limitations.

To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, Simulator Training is employed. These state-of-the-art flight simulators replicate real-life flying conditions and emergency scenarios with remarkable accuracy, allowing pilots to hone their skills in navigating complex instruments and responding to emergencies safely and effectively, all within a controlled environment.

Furthering this hands-on experience is the Flight Training segment. Participants have the opportunity to fly the AW139 in real-world conditions, guided by the expertise of seasoned instructors. This phase is critical for translating classroom and simulator learning into practical flying skills, emphasizing decision-making, precision, and safety.

Additionally, the curriculum includes Mission-Specific Training, focusing on preparing pilots and crew for specialized tasks such as search and rescue, offshore oil rig operations, firefighting, and medical evacuations. This training is tailored to the unique demands of each mission type, covering operational strategies, tactical maneuvers, and specific procedures that ensure success and safety during actual missions.

The announcement of the renewal of this partnership comes at a crucial time for Qatar as the country continues to strengthen its defense and security capabilities in a complex geopolitical context. By investing in cutting-edge technologies and enhancing strategic collaborations, Qatar demonstrates its commitment to safeguarding its territory and national interests.
