This vehicle is designed for special forces operations, offering exceptional performance and adaptability to varied terrains and mission requirements, with its unique 6x6 configuration.
The Masstech T6 has substantial dimensions, measuring 6.6 meters in length, 1.99 meters in width, and 2.56 meters in height. These dimensions provide it with a significant presence while ensuring stability and ample space for equipment and personnel.
The vehicle is designed to excel in off-road capabilities with an approach angle of 35°, a departure angle of 25°, a breakover angle of 156°, and a side slope angle of 30°. These specifications make the Masstech T6 particularly adept at navigating difficult and uneven terrains, crucial for special operations.
Among its main features, the Masstech T6 includes reinforced rear axles with optional differential locks on each axle, enhancing traction and stability. It is equipped with a dual-output transfer case, allowing engagement and disengagement of the second axle at low speeds (up to 30 km/h). This flexibility in traction modes, offering 6x2 and 6x6 configurations, ensures optimal performance in various driving conditions.
Additional equipment includes a power enhancement kit for the engine, aluminum rims, and BF Goodrich T/A 265/70R17 tires (new KM model). These enhancements contribute to the vehicle's durability, reliability, and performance, making it a formidable asset for special forces.
The Masstech T6 Special Forces, presented at Eurosatory 2024, was well received by the public. It will be interesting to see more of this vehicle in the future to get a better idea of its capabilities. Hopefully, we will have the chance to see it again at the Eurosatory 2024 exhibition, possibly with more favorable weather conditions.
