ASELSAN redefines land and naval protection with its latest innovations at IDEX and NAVDEX 2025.


On the occasion of IDEX & NAVDEX 2025 in Abu Dhabi, ASELSAN’s President and CEO, Ahmet Akyol, granted an exclusive interview to Army Recognition to present the new land and naval defense systems unveiled by the Turkish company. This edition marks a significant participation for ASELSAN, showcasing a wide range of technological solutions designed to meet the growing demands in security and defense.

ASELSAN introduces its ALKAR 100/81 and ALKAR 110/81 artillery and mortar systems, which provide enhanced precision and operational flexibility for indirect fire units. These systems are complemented by the ASAF 155 CCF, ASAF 155 MOFA, and ATOM 25 ABM smart munitions, designed to optimize strike accuracy and adapt to modern battlefield dynamics. The company also highlights the YENER 100-G ground-penetrating radar, capable of detecting buried threats such as improvised explosive devices and mines, improving security for ground forces.

In the naval domain, ASELSAN presents advanced solutions in electronic warfare, radar surveillance, and secure communications. Among the showcased systems are the GÖKDENİZ 100/35 close-in weapon system, as well as GÖKSUR, SMASH, CENK, AKREP, and SERDAR, all aimed at protecting vessels from aerial and maritime threats. The company’s participation at NAVDEX also includes the KORKUT 150/35 mobile air defense artillery system, mounted on the CALIDUS Wahash 8x8 vehicle, along with avionics solutions for the B-250 aircraft by Calidus Aerospace. Additionally, ASELSAN displays several systems at EDGE’s stand, including the ALP 300-G air surveillance radar and ARTCom 9661 tactical radios. Meanwhile, the armored vehicle manufacturer NIMR integrates the SARP 100 remote-controlled turret onto its Ajban vehicles.
