The facility, spanning over 5,000 square meters, employs 350 highly skilled engineers across aeronautical, mechanical, software, and hardware disciplines, all working together to manufacture the high-endurance UAV.

The Milkor 380 is a versatile platform designed for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, boasting an impressive 30-hour endurance. It plays a pivotal role in modern defense, offering extended operational capabilities across a range of missions. The UAV is equipped with advanced avionics and cutting-edge electronics, which are produced and integrated within the Cape Town facility.

The manufacturing process begins with the production of composite materials that form the UAV's body, followed by the integration of avionics and electronic systems. The facility is equipped with an in-house software testing hub, electronics manufacturing center, and a composite manufacturing unit. This vertical integration allows Milkor to ensure quality control at every stage of the production process.

Currently, the production capacity of the Milkor 380 stands at eight units per year, with the potential to expand in response to demand. The UAV’s capabilities position it as a vital asset for defense forces, enabling long-duration missions for ISR roles across various operational environments.
