The ships from Denmark
and Norway loaded with Syria’s chemical weapons, jointly escorted
by vessels from China, Russia, Denmark and Norway, sailed out of the
boundary line of Syrian territorial waters at 18:29 on January 27,
2014, local time.
Ships from Denmark and
Norway arrived at Syria’s Port of Ladhiqiyah one after another
at about 11:00, local time, to load the second batch of Syria’s
chemical weapons.
The guided missile frigate
“Yancheng” and escort vessels from Russia, Denmark and
Norway conducted patrols and surveillance in designated sea areas
outside the Port of Ladhiqiyah respectively.
It is learnt that before
the second escort mission for Syria’s chemical weapons, the
guided missile frigate “Yancheng” of the PLAN and the
“Peter the Great” cruiser of Russia assigned their liaison
officers to communicate and coordinate relevant issues on the mission
in a timely manner.
