BDC built a number of ships in various types and sizes for the Royal Thai Navy. From buoy tender vessel up to OPV class. This year at Defense and Security Thailand, they are displaying for the first time a mockup of the HTMS Prachuap Khiri Khan.

Prachuap Khiri Khan based on the River-class OPVs was built by state-owned Bangkok Dock under a technology-transfer agreement signed with BAE Systems. It was laid down in June 2017 and first took to the water in late August 2018.

The vessel has an overall length of 90.5 m, an overall beam of 13.5 m, and a draught of 3.5 m. It has a top speed of 25 kt and a range of 3,500 n miles at 15 kt. The vessel features Thales combat and communication suites and is capable of launching Harpoon missiles via four launchers.

The Bangkok Dock Company offers maintenance and repair of the vessel to support the naval industry both domestically and internationally. Their customers are the Royal Thai Navy, Port Authority or Custom Department and Yacht.
