FEINDEF 2018: EINSA unveils Neton Ultrafast Tactical Vehicle, displays self-propelled external loader

Besides other of its products, the Spanish company EINSA unveils two especially interesting ones: a very fast 4x4 vehicle dedicated to special forces, and a “bomb loader”.

The Neton is an ultrafast all-terrain vehicle, air transportable, designed to meet various requirements from the special forces. It is versatile, adaptable as a personnel carrier for up to 9 people (2+3+4), a weapon platform, a cargo vehicle, etc., the payload being 1,000 kg, the vehicle itself weighing approximately 2,000 kg. The Toyota engine delivers 110 kw at 3,400 rpm. Its 400 NM at 1,600 rpm torque is really good. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The maximum speed is not less than 160 km/h, hence its “ultrafast” qualification for a vehicle of this type. The vehicle is air transportable.

The diesel-powered self-propelled external loader VAP-40D ATEX manufactured by EINSA has been designed to transport, position, load and unload a wide range of external loads up to 4,000 lbs on/off military aircraft, namely helicopters and fighter jets like the Eurofighter and Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II.
