New Russian RKHM-8 CBR and reconnaissance vehicle to be demonstrated at Army-2019 forum


The RKHM-8, the newest CBR (chemical, biological and radiological) reconnaissance vehicle, will be demonstrated at the Army-2019 International Military-Technical forum on June 25-30 at the Patriot Congress & Exhibition Center of the Russian Armed Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"The exposition titled ‘Army of Russia - Tomorrow’ will feature the RKHM-8 CBR reconnaissance vehicle, which will speed up the radiological, chemical and biological reconnaissance as well as the collection, processing and transmission of data in real time to the troops control systems and will make it possible to reveal the CBR situation promptly and more accurately in real time," the ministry said.

The CBR troops will demonstrate more than 70 pieces of military hardware at the forum. They include a heavy flame-throwing system, a mobile laboratory, the TDA-3 vehicle for setting up smoke screens, the USSO universal processing station for CBR decontamination and disinfection of major facilities, personal belongings and weapons.
