The Tatra 8x8 high mobility Heavy Duty Tactical truck integrated with military load handling system interfaces with NATO STANAG 2413 flatracks and ISO containers.

A standardized range of special vehicles complying with all requirements from special military forces such as the ability to be transported by standard NATO C-130 Hercules aircraft, the possibility of additional armor according to STANAG, the use of an overpressure NBC protection kit, the possibility of mounting a gun carriage system, etc.

Vehicles are equipped with a low cab. Engines available are of TATRA design, these are directly air-cooled engines, or they are made by other manufacturers abroad. In this case, they are liquid-cooled. As for transmissions, they can be manual (TATRA), or automatic (Allison or Twin Disc). The TATRA transmission unit can be equipped, upon request, with the TATRA-Norgren electronic gear shifting system. The T 815-7 range includes model versions ranging from 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 up to 10x10 with AWD. These vehicles are primarily intended for the military segment; thanks to their low height and compactness, however, they are also widely used in the civilian sector – mobile cranes, fire trucks with ladders and rescue vehicles.

The REBS Rapidly Emplaced Bridge System is a dry-gap bridge of aluminum which was designed to provide tactical gap crossing capability for mechanized infantry units such as the U.S. Army's Stryker brigades. REBS allows the crossing of unprepared gaps up to 13 m (42.6 feet) for wheeled and tracked vehicles with loads up to MLC50.

The REBS design is based on experience gained with the AVLB BEAVER system and uses proven components and similar bridge sections. The automatically controlled hydraulic launching and retrieving procedure is done from the truck-mounted Bridge Adapter Pallet with its integrated launcher. The pallet can be adapted to every 10-15 tons PLS truck. Operational power is taken from the transport truck or from the pallet-integrated diesel-driven hydraulic system.

REBS is horizontally free-launched, coupled together and then laid across the gap, thus providing a low profile signature to reduce enemy reconnaissance.

REBS is C-130 air-transportable without the need for reconfiguration. The deployed bridge can also be transported as underslung load by a CH-47 helicopter. The REBS has been in service with the U.S. Army since 2007.

This impressive system can be on the outdoor exhibition part of IDET 2015.
