Russian Helicopters showcases modernized variant of Mi-28NE attack helicopter.
Russian Helicopters holding company within the Russian State Corporation Rostec presents a modernized variant of a Mi-28NE attack helicopter at the International Military-Technical Forum Army 2018.

"An upgraded Mi-28NE version is presented in a new technical design. The improvements include the main rotor system and engine unit," according Russian helicopter Company.
The Mi-28NE “Night Hunter” is a modern attack helicopter designed to carry out search and destroy operations against tanks, armoured and un-armoured vehicles, and enemy personnel in combat, as well as low-speed airborne targets. It can operate night and day, and in adverse weather conditions.
The Mi-28N “Night Hunter” has been officially accepted into service with the Russian Ministry of Defence. The “Night Hunter” meets the latest international standards for combat attack helicopters, and Mi-28NE is its export version.
Modernized versions of Mi-35M and Mi-35P, which have been upgraded with new on-board radio-electronic equipment, will also go on view at Army-2018, Russian Helicopters’ press service added.
Russian Helicopters will demonstrate Mi-17V-5 and Ka-226.80 helicopters as well as a patrol variant of the Ansat helicopter at a stationary parking. The Mi-171Sh combat-transport helicopter with expanded capabilities will be on view at the Aviation pavilion. The latest modification of the heavy 26T2V heavy helicopter will stand outdoors next to the pavilion.
