DSEI 2019: Pitagone anti-ram vehicles mobile barrier the best solution to counter terrorist truck attacks.
At DSEI 2019, the International Defense and Security Exhibition in London, Belgian Company Pitagone exhibits its F18 anti-ram vehicles mobile barrier, the solution to counter terrorist attack using vehicles or trucks. The new Pitagone F18 anti-ram vehicle barrier is the only certified system in Europe that withstands the impact of a vehicular attack from 7,5 to 18 tons at a maximum speed of 48 km/h.

The Belgian Company Pitagone is one of the European leaders in Counter Terror Mobile Solutions. The anti-ram mobile barriers of Pitagone were used in the United Kingdom around the Queen's residence in Sandringham. The state-of-the-art barriers have been erected on the four roads which lead to the Royal estate where the Monarch is staying in the run-up to New Year of 2018.

During a crash test in Germany, a truck of 12 tons was stopped on wet ground on 90° but also on 45°, a unique feature of the Pitagone F18 anti-ram vehicles mobile barrier. The front of the truck including the engine was also fully destroyed to ensure total truck immobility.
