Enforce TAC 2019: MBDA continues to promote Enforcer light infantry missile weapon system.
MBDA continues to promote the Enforcer, an high precision man portable missile system at Enforce TAC 2019, the International Exhibition & Conference Law Enforcement, Security and Tactical Solutions for Police and Security, in Nuremberg, Germany. Enforcer is a German-led, multi-national MBDA program that was launched for the German army to fill the gap between the Panzerfaust and Spike/Milan anti-tank missile system.

Mission experience of international armed forces has revealed an operational need for lightweight, precision stand-off weapons for use by the infantry, specials forces and special operations forces of all services.
The Enforcer concept is a new lightweight one-shot, disposable shoulder-launched guided munitions which has a firing range from 100 m to 2 km using Fire-and-Forget missile system.
The Enforcer is a one-man portable infantry weapon which has a weight of 7 kg using a Fire-and-Forget, Lock-on-Before Launch (LOBL) guided missile system. It has a maximum range of 2,000 m and can be used against light armored vehicles and soft skinned vehicles.
In December 2016, MBDA has announced successful test fire of the lightweight missile Enforcer as part of its ongoing development program. The multinational Enforcer team scored several highly accurate hits during guided firings carried out at the trials facility of the German Bundeswehr’s Technical Center for Weapons and Ammunition 91 in November 2016.
According to MBDA representative, the acquisition and the purchase of the Enforcer by the German army could be announced at the end of 2019.
