IDET 2019: Nexter Systems presents its TITUS 6x6 augmented mission variant.
French Company Nexter Systems presents its TITUS (Tactical Infantry Transport & Utility System) 6x6 armoured vehicle "Augmented Mission" variant at IDET 2019, the International Defence and Security Technologies exhibition in Brno, Czech Republic. The TITUS was unveiled in September 2013 at DSEI, the International Defense & Security event in London, United Kingdom.

According to a statement published on August 27, 2018, by the Czech Ministry of Defense website, Czech Republic has awarded a contract to supply 62 TITUS 6x6 armored combat vehicles, jointly developed and designed by the French Company Nexter Systems now part of KNDS and the Czech Company TATRA.
The TITUS is based on a modular design offering the possibility to adapt the vehicle to different types of missions such as transport of infantry troops, combat, combat support and combat service support functions including medical evacuation, cargo transport, peacekeeping and counter-insurgency.
The TITUS "Augmented Mission" is an enhanced version of the standard vehicle including new ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and reconnaissance) subsystems as NERVA LG UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) stored to the right side of the vehicle and one UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) located on the roof of the troops' compartment.
The roof of the vehicle at the front is fitted with the Nexter ARX20 remote weapon station, armed with a 20mm cannon and a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, there is also pintle-mounted machine guns on the roof above the rear crew compartment, one on either side.
