After the successful launch and worldwideoperations of IAG’s largest RILA 518 STANAG Level-3 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle, IAG is now introducing a smaller variant of same category by the name RILA 315 MRAP.
The RILA 315 MRAP can seat up to 10 fully geared personnel equipped with military grade certified blast attenuation seats and offers STANAG Level-3 protection with a V-hull shape floor. It is available in LHD & RHD configurations as well as 4x4 & 6x6 drive train with a turbocharged 6 cylinders diesel engine producing 280HPand 930Nm of torque.
Considering the various operational terrains, IAG offers the RILA MRAP with severaldifferent types of suspension systems including Leaf-Spring Suspension, Coil-Spring front and rear Suspension & Independent Suspension with CTIS. The RILA can be configured as a military ambulance, riot-control vehicle and equipped with a high payload package for cargo transport.
IAG has held a BRV 2009 VR7 certification on its Toyota Land Cruiser 200 for 8 years now but we wanted to push the envelope and put our certified Land Cruiser to even more stringent tests. As a result, we successfully passed the military Stanag Level-2a blast certification on this commercial armored platform. When it comes to civilian looking armored vehicles such as the TLC 200, it is very difficult to obtain such high blast certification as the manufacturer is not able to equip the vehicle with a V-hull shaped floor, thus making the task of passing 6kgs of TNT under the vehicle very difficult.
The TLC 200 is IAG’s flagship commercial armored platformand is available with ballistic protection in CEN B6, B7, BRV 2009 VR7, STANAG Level 1 and 2 in combination with blast certifications for DM51 hand grenades on the roof and floor, HG85 hand grenades on the roof and floor, DM31 anti-tank mine under the floor, 6kg of TNT under the front driver wheel and17kg of TNT side blast.
The diversity of drive train configurations along with high level of protection has led to the TLC 200 being the most sought after armored commercial vehicle. To date, IAG has sold & exported over 5,000 armored TLCs worldwide which are currently deployed with NGOs, peace keeping operators, government organizations and security companies and forces.
