Italian Company IVECO will deliver 1,275 LMV Light Multirole Vehicles to Netherlands.
According to a Tweet published on the Twitter account of StrataNL on August 15, 2019, the army of Netherlands has selected the LMV Light Multirole Vehicle, designed and manufactured by the Italian Company IVECO for the new multirole armored vehicle fo the Dutch Army.

The Dutch armed forces will acquire up to 1,275 LMV IVECO vehicles in five different variants with deliveries expected to begin in 2022. The LMV (Light Multirole Vehicle) IVECO will mainly replace the fleet of Mercedes-Benz 290 GD currently in service with the Dutch armed forces.
The variants of the LMV IVECO for the Dutch armed forces will include 2 combat variants in hardtop and soft-top, logistic vehicle, ambulance and military police.
The Iveco LMV (Light Multirole Vehicle) is a 4x4 tactical vehicle developed by Iveco, and in service with several countries. The Light Multipurpose Vehicle (LMV) was originally developed by the IVECO Defence Vehicles as a private venture with the first of 10 prototypes being completed in 2001. The LMV Iveco is in service with 17 countries from all over the world.
The LMV Iveco can be fitted with modular armor, who gives protection against any type of mine and ballistic threats, favoring crew protection versus vehicle integrity. The LMV is designed to provide the crew with the maximum possible safety against mines.
The LMV Iveco is motorized with a 140 KW(HP) power engine coupled to an automatic or a mechanical gearbox with 6 forward gears and 1 reverse. The vehicle can ford to a depth of 1.5 m with preparation. The LMV IVECI can run at a maximum road speed of 130 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 500 km.
