Russia: Roselectronika designs radar against small drones.
Roselectrionika Holding of Rostec designed a radar to detect small drones at a distance of 7.5 km. The radar was designed by Salyut of Roselectronika together with Fakel of Almaz-Antey. Prototypes have been built and field trials held. The radar is made only of Russian electronic components and is unprecedented in the country, Rostec said.

The target illumination station is designed to detect and track small and low-contrast targets with a cross-section of 30 cm², a broad range of speeds and ability to fly at low and super low altitudes. Upon detecting an object, it transmits information to the command post. The radar is a multichannel Ka-band station with a small size of 325x240x230 mm. It is carried on a rotating device with a view in all directions. The radar is controlled both automatically and manually from a notebook.
"(…) Traditional radars do not reliably detect drones with a small cross section. Roselectronika design copes with the task. The radar will be in demand by special and civilian customers," Rostec Executive Director Oleg Yevtushenko said.
