The Taifun-M simulator makes it possible to model the dynamics of a unit’s movement on a computer in any extreme conditions with account taken of terrain features, various road surfaces and obstacles. The multifunctional simulator makes it possible to train the whole crew of the Taifun-M combat anti-sabotage vehicle from the driver to the shooter of a remotely controlled panel. The simulator enables the instructor to control the actions of the students in real-time fixing the mistakes of each of them automatically. A TV surveillance system makes it possible for the supervisor to control the actions of the crew members.

The first prototype of the Taifun-M simulator has been delivered to an inter-service regional training center in Ostrov (the Pskov region), which will train junior military personnel who will service automatic security systems.

The batch pieces of these simulators are being delivered to missile formations, which are being rearmed with new weapons and military hardware, as well as to higher educational establishments organic to the Russian Strategic Missile Troops. Their number will increase to twenty by the year 2020.
