Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía wins tactical technologies contract in Japan, plans to create radio production center.

The Executive President of Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía, Luis Furnells, announced today in Valdepeñas (Ciuad Real – Spain) the award of a new and important contract in Japan for its technological development of tactical communications, Data Link.

Furnells has stressed the importance of this contract because it confirms the good reception of the high technology of the company has in the most advanced and demanding international markets. Data Link allows sharing data tactically between different systems (on land, sea or air) in order to streamline and make a more efficient decision making. This advanced tactical communications technology is already operational in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Bangladesh and now Japan.

Luis Furnells has advanced that, based on two key technologies - the aforementioned tactical communications and secured communications -, in which Tecnobit has extensive experience and enjoys an international reputation, the company plans to create a Radio Production Center, following the latest "Software Defined Radio" (SDR) standards. Although this new production line would be oriented to the whole of Europe, in Spain it would aspire to become a guarantor of national sovereignty in essential security systems. This new production center would be located in the Grupo Oesía plant located in Valdepeñas and would generate a very important volume of R&D and workload.
