Austrian Hirtenberger Defence Group to be acquired by HDT Védelmi Ipari Kft


The Office of the Hungarian Government Commissioner Responsible for Defence, Defence Industries and the Coordination of Defence Modernisation announces that HDT Védelmi Ipari Kft. Company has acquired 100% of the Austrian Hirtenberger Defence Group owned by the Hirtenberger Holding GmbH, Hirtenberg, Austria.

The acquisition of Hirtenberger Defence is a vital cornerstone of the Hungarian Government strategy to grow and develop the Hungarian Defence Industry Sector.
HDT Védelmi Ipari Kft. Company will maintain and grow the current Hirtenberger Defence Group as it is and takes full responsibility for all commercial operations and commitments to employees, customers, partners and suppliers. Hirtenberger Defence will continue to operate from all its locations and carry the internationally well known brand.
