BAE Systems presents latest production vehicle of General Purpose from the family of Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) at AUSA 2017, the Association of United States Army exhibition and conference in Washington D.C. The AMPV is a critically important program intended to replace the Vietnam-era M113 Family of tracked Vehicles in service with the U.S. Army.

Cubic Corporation announced that its Cubic Global Defense (CGD) and Cubic Mission Solutions (CMS) business divisions demonstrate industry-leading simulation, training and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities at the 2017 AUSA Annual Meeting and Exposition in Washington, D.C. from October 9–11. Hosted by the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), the annual meeting is the largest land power exposition and professional development forum in North America, consisting of informative presentations, seminars, networking events and technology exhibition.

The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a $59.5 million contract for additional APKWS guidance kits to transform unguided 2.75-inch (70-millimeter) rockets into laser-guided precision munitions. The new contract will enable BAE Systems to continue to meet the growing demand for cost-effective guided munitions for U.S. armed forces and allied international customers.

Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting and Exposition – AeroVironment, Inc., a global leader in unmanned aircraft systems for both military and commercial applications, today announced that its Puma™ AE and Raven® small unmanned aircraft systems, the most widely deployed UAVs in the United States Department of Defense fleet, are being enhanced with new upgrades. The new aircraft, Puma 3 and Raven 3, will be unveiled at the AUSA Global Force Symposium in March 2018.

Endeavor Robotics, the U.S.-based global leader in tactical ground robotics, was awarded the United States Department of Defense’s Man Transportable Robotic System Increment II (MTRS Inc. II) contract. Endeavor was one of several companies to bid on the $100 million contract. The contract has an option for an additional $58 million worth of deliverables.

The American Company Oshkosh Defense showcases a new variant of its Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) with next generation lethality and networking capabilities at AUSA 2017, the Association of United States exhibition and conference. At AUSA, the JLTV General Purpose is fitted with a Kongsberg Protector LW 30 Remote Weapon System.

FLIR Systems, Inc. (FLIR) has been awarded a $6.8 Million firm-fixed-price order to deliver Black Hornet Personal Reconnaissance Systems (PRS) in support of the Australian Army. The units delivered under this contract will support platoon and troop level organic surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities. The Australian Army previously purchased the Black Hornet PRS for test and evaluation purposes, leading to the awarded contract for full operational deployment after a re-competed tender.

The American Company HDT Global (HDT), a leading provider of highly engineered solutions for extreme environments across military, public and private sectors, today unveiled its Wheeled Offload Logistics Follower (WOLF) robotic system The HDT Hunter WOLF system closely matches infantry mobility and can traverse narrow trails, steep slopes and dense jungles, while carrying up to 1000 lbs. (450 kg) of cargo for more than 72 hours without resupply.

At AUSA 2017, the Association of United States Army exhibition and conference in Washington D.C., the American Company Raytheon presents the SkyHunter, a US-certified version of the Iron Dome developed jointly by the Israeli Company Rafael and Raytheon. The SkyHunter is a mobile all-weather air defense system designed to destroy short-range rockets and artillery shells fired from distances of 4 to 70 kilometers.

Esterline Corporation, a leading specialty manufacturer serving global aerospace and defense markets, is releasing to the U.S. market a new version of its Thin eXtreme Display series. During the AUSA Annual Meeting 2017, which take place in Washington D.C. USA, WB Group, one of the two biggest Polish Defence holding, unveils their new product for dismounted soldiers on the future battlefield. The system, U-GATE, uses augmented reality technology which superimposes computer generated images into the user’s field of view. Many companies are looking to adapt this technology for military use but WB Group are one of the first leading defence players to develop a working product.
