CM-32 Yunpao the future generation of 8x8 armoured personnel carrier for Taiwanese army
 
At TADTE 2013, the Taipei Aerospace and Defense Technology Exhibition, the latest generation of 8x8 armoured vehicle personnel CM-32 Yunpao was showed with a turret armed with 40mm automatic grenade launcher and one 7.62mm coaxial machine gun. The Taiwanese Army plans to order up to 1,400 CM-32 vehicles with 368 vehicles entering service by 2017-2018.

Armaments Bureau's 202nd Arsenal unveils the new 5.56mm caliber Multi-Utilization Special Rifle
 
The new Multi-Utilization Special Rifle 5.56mm caliber designed by the Armaments Bureau's 202nd Arsenal of Taiwanese Ministry of Defense, could replace in the future the standard T91 assault rifle of the Taiwanese Army. In 2003, the ROC Army ordered 101,162 T91 combat rifles as force-wide replacements of all service rifles, with a delivery schedule from 2004 to 2008.

Kestrel latest generation of rocket launcher weapon presented by Chung-Shan Institute at TADTE

The Tawainese Armed Forces and especially the Marine Corps has requested for a new type of rocket launcher system.

Taiwan Air Force announces the establishment of Air Force anti-submarine group
 
Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense announced the establishment of an Air Force anti-submarine group, maintained by eleven S-2T Turbo Tracker anti-submarine planes transferred from the Navy. The announcement was made by Chief of the General Staff Gen. Yen Ming during a commissioning ceremony at an air force base in Pingtung County, southern Taiwan.
