Ðuro Ðakovic signs contract for delivery to Croatia of AMV 8x8 armoured with Protector turret
 

Following the Republic of Croatia's decision to continue the equipment of its Armed Forces, the Minister of Defence Ante Kotromanovic and the President of Management Board of Ðuro Ðakovic Group Vladimir Kovacevic signed a contract on the acquisition and equipment of the Armed Forces' AMV 8x8 combat armoured vehicles with PROTECTOR M151 12.7mm calibre weapon stations.

Thales Australia has delivered two Hawkei reconnaissance 4x4 armoured vehicle to Australian army
 

Thales Australia has delivered a further two Hawkei vehicles to the Defence Materiel Organisation on schedule. The handover of the two Reconnaissance variants under Stage 2 of the Manufactured and Supported in Australia option of Land 121 Phase 4 means that all six vehicles are now with the Department of Defence for testing. All vehicle delivery milestones have been met on schedule.

Azerbaijan will soon start producing 107 and 122mm missile with Turkish Company Roketsan
 

Azerbaijan will soon start producing missiles together with Turkey’s ROKETSAN company. ROKETSAN told APA (Azerbaijan Press Agency) about it exclusively. Production line has been established at one of the facilities of Azerbaijan with the participation of ROKETSAN. The sides signed a contract on starting production in Istanbul on May 8.

Jordan asks the deployment of Patriot missile in its region bordering Syria to protect its territory
 

Jordan is mulling deployment of Patriot missiles in its region bordering Syria in order to protect its territory from the spiralling conflict which is spilling over into neighbouring countries. "Jordan wishes to deploy Patriot missile batteries in order to boost its defence capabilities and help protect the country. We are currently at the stage of talks with friendly states," Jordanian Information Minister Mohammad Momani said during a press conference.

Iranian Defence Ministry launches production line of Herz (Protector) 9 mobile air defence system
 

The Iranian Defense Ministry started mass-production of a highly mobile home-made air-defense system. The production line of the new system, Herz (Protector) 9, was inaugurated in a special ceremony attended by the country's Defense Minister Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi on the occasion of the liberation of Khorramshahr city from Iraqi occupation during the eight-year Iraqi imposed war in the 1980s.
