Russia’s Strategic Missile Force receives over 5,000 Ratnik combat outfits in 2016 (video)
More than 5,000 Ratnik combat outfits have arrived for Russia’s Strategic Missile Force in 2016, Head of the Team of the Strategic Missile Force’s Combat Training Department Colonel Yevgeny Shchelkanov said in an interview with Echo Moskvy radio station.

"About 5,000 Ratnik combat outfits have been delivered this year. Security guards and reconnaissance and anti-sabotage units are the first to receive them," Shchelkanov said.

According to him, various sets of the Ratnik combat gear that is currently arriving for units comprise 52 elements, including organic weapons, positioning equipment, etc.

"I believe that all Strategic Missile Force units will receive this combat gear in the imminent future," Shchelkanov said.
