With a flexible payload capability ranging from 4,500 to 7,000 pounds, the Flyer 72 is the leader in payload capacity. The advanced lightweight chassis and suspension allow the Flyer 72 to negotiate severe terrain at high speeds, and maintain stability and performance while carrying a maximum payload.
When it comes to performance, the Flyer 72’s powerful engine allows for safe and fast operating speeds, reaching up to 95 mph (153 km/h). The vehicle's cooling system ensures optimal performance even in temperatures exceeding 50°C. The cruising range is around 300 miles (483 km) in mission configuration, and 500 miles (805 km) on flat ground at 40 mph (65 km/h). This vehicle can conquer inclines of up to 60%, allowing it to navigate steep gradients with ease. With a dynamic side slope capability of 40%, this vehicle can maintain stability and maneuverability on uneven terrain. For water crossings, the vehicle is designed to ford up to 30 inches without requiring any special preparation.
The Flyer 72 is built for resilience and protection. It can withstand severe and rugged terrains, offering off-road and cross-country mobility in all weather conditions. The manufacturer proposes optional armor kits, including a 60% Armor Kit, Dynamic Side Slope Crew Protection Kit (CPK), and Gunner Protection Kit (GPK).
The width of the vehicle measures 72 inches (1,83m), providing a compact profile for maneuverability in tight spaces. It can be easily transported internally in a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. If you include the side cargo boxes, the width expands to 85 inches (2,16m), offering increased storage capacity for essential gear and supplies. Standing tall at 72 inches, the vehicle's height can be adjusted to accommodate various situations and environments.
The seating can accommodate up to seven individuals, including a rear-facing seat for improved situational awareness. With five-point seat restraints and an optional secondary seat kit, everyone stays secure during transit.
