Romanian authorities will lay the foundations for a bilateral cooperation in the defense industry with the German armored fighting vehicles company Krauss-Maffei Germans Wegman. A working group has already been formed after a meeting between Sorin Encutescu, State Secretary of the Romanian Ministry of Economy, coordinator of the defense industry, and Thomas Fritzsch, regional sales director of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW).

Ecuadorian Minister of National Defence, Fernando Cordero, participated, on Saturday April 25, to the delivery of 162 multipurpose vehicles to the 11th Armored Cavalry Brigade "Galapagos". He said that the acquisition of these vehicles means more security for the country and its people and better conditions for the Ecuadorian Army to make their work more efficiently, effectively and in safety conditions.

The Ukrainian Defense Industry Group Ukroboronprom has announced the delivery of a new batch of updated T-64B main battle tanks to the Ukrainian ministry of Defense. The T-64 was developed and designed in Kharkiv (Ukraine) as the next-generation main battle tank in the early 1960s by the Company Morozov.

Jordan and Italy, on Wednesday April 29, inked a deal to cement military cooperation between the two countries in areas of training, armament manufacturing and exchange of expertise among others. The agreement was signed by Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff, the King's Adviser for Military Affairs, Gen. Mashal al-Zabin, and Italy's Defence Minister, Roberta Pinotti.
