During DSEI 2021, International Defense Exhibition in London, UK, Belgian company John Cockerill has announced that it has already produced and delivered more than six hundred turrets, with over hundred equipped with the Cockerill® 105 gun, also produced by John Cockerill Defense. For the record, John Cockerill Defense won a major contract in 2014 to supply Cockerill® 3000 Series turrets.

At DSEI 2021, Schiebel showcases the proven, autonomous Camcopter S-100 UAS for civilian or military applications over land or sea, allowing 24/7 operation under adverse weather conditions. 

360iSR and Canadian UAVs have agreed to jointly offer the most comprehensive Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) operations training on the market globally. The joint training offering announced at DSEI 2021 leverages the partnership’s world-class multi-decade, multi-platform and proprietary Transport Canada approved Detect and Avoid technology to provide end-to-end UAS training solutions in alignment with NATO Standard ATP-3.3.8.1 requirements.

Following a competitive bid process, Government Services Administration (GSA), in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), awarded Polaris Government and Defense a follow-on contract for the Polaris MRZR Alpha, a new light tactical vehicle. Polaris Government and Defense is a division of global powersports leader Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII). The seven-year contract has a value of up to $109 million and was awarded on May 29, 2020.

A £110 million contract has been awarded to deliver the new Defence Strategic Radio Service (DSRS) to critical military operations of the British Army. DSRS uses the Earth’s ionosphere, part of the upper atmosphere, to allow radio signals to be sent and received across thousands of kilometers. This allows communications to be rapidly delivered across a variety of domains to service personnel, regardless of whether they are on land, in the air or at sea.
