Thales has delivered to the French defence procurement agency (DGA) two STP-NG new-generation platoon-level firing simulators for French Land Forces. These training simulators have entered into service at the Canjuers and Saumur (école de cavalerie) army bases to train forces to use the new systems equipped on the upgraded AMX-10 RCR vehicle.

The new local-made Belrex PCSV (Protected Combat Support Vehicle) has entered in service with the Singapore armed forces, Friday November 25, 2015 to replace the army's five-tonne trucks. Second Minister for Defence Mr Ong Ye Kung officiated at a ceremony to mark the commissioning of the Belrex Protected Combat Support Vehicle (PCSV) at the SAFTI Live Firing Area this afternoon.

The Uralvagonzavod (Russian acronym: UVZ) scientific-research corporation will launch an automatized manufacturing line to produce newest high-precision guns for T-14 Armata and T-90MS main battle tanks (MBT), as well as for 2S25 Sprut-SDM air-droppable self-propelled anti-tank gun (SPATG) systems, the Izvestia newspaper said.

Elbit Systems of America announced on November 23, that it was awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity ("ID/IQ") contract for the production of 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortar Weapon Systems. The ID/IQ contract will support the Army's Product Manager for Guided Precision Munitions and Mortar Systems for US and foreign allied delivery requirements, with a maximum value of approximately $103 million, will be completed in five years.

India on Monday, November 21, 2016, successfully test-fired its indigenously developed nuclear capable Prithvi-II missile. The missiles were fired from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) off the Odisha coast. Developed under India’s flagship Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) programme, it is the 12th test of the interceptor missile.

Saab will now provide OSAG 2.0 interoperability upgrades for the U.S. 7th ATC’s Deployable Instrumentation System – Europe (DISE) and the Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CVTESS) to meet U.S. Army and European forward deployment interoperability requirements.
